How do I mention a Teams user from Slack?

Create a Teams mention from Slack with /convly, then use it in a hybrid channel.

  1. Go to the Slack channel where you want to mention a Teams user. The Teams user must already be a member of the channel.
  2. Type /convly, find the Teams user, click ... next to their name, and select Create mention.
  3. Back in the channel, type @ followed by the name you just created a mention for.

The mention will appear on the Teams side.

Notes:

  • @here and @channel from Slack are converted to @everyone on Teams.
  • @everyone from Teams is converted to @channel on Slack.
